Preparation

Steep the water and ground coffee in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Then, strain through a coffee filter or paper towel. Pour the cold brew coffee along with the gin into the iSi Nitro, charge with one iSi Nitro Charger, and shake vigorously.

Mix the bitter lemon and Pro Espuma together, then strain through a funnel and sieve directly into a 0.5L whipper (e.g., Whipper Professional 0.5L). Charge the whipper with one cream charger and shake vigorously.

Fill a tall glass with tonic water and a few ice cubes, add the Nitro Coffee Gin, and top with the bitter lemon espuma.

The Nitro Coffee Gin Tonic is a drink with real character: It combines the deep roasted aromas and creamy texture of nitro cold brew with the floral juniper notes of gin, the bitterness of tonic water, and the sweet-and-sour freshness of bitter lemon espuma. Thanks to this complex interplay of crisp freshness, a creamy texture, and a caffeine kick, this drink is the perfect match for very specific occasions and dishes:

The Perfect Occasions
As an after-work drink or late afternoon aperitif, it revitalizes you after a long day. At summer rooftop and garden parties, it offers a contemporary, surprising alternative to classics like the Gin Tonic or Espresso Martini. It also shines as a versatile "in-between" drink—whether as an elegant digestif after dinner or a stylish transition from afternoon coffee into the evening.

Food Pairing: What Complements This Drink?
Since the drink is highly complex (coffee roast + bitterness + citrus freshness), it pairs exceptionally well with snacks that either balance the creaminess or mirror the roasted and citrus notes.

Savory Snacks and Finger Food (Aperitif-Style)
The flavors of the drink can be beautifully enhanced with carefully selected finger food. The roasted and smoky aromas of smoked almonds, salted cashews, or pecans harmonize perfectly with the coffee notes. For a delightful contrast to the tart freshness, opt for mature, savory cheeses like aged Parmesan or a robust Gruyère. Bold, rich snacks—including bruschetta with olive tapenade or crostini with goat cheese and figs—are also ideal for rounding out the taste experience.

Sweet Companions (Coffee and Dessert-Style)
This drink is equally versatile when paired with sweet treats. Creations with a high cocoa content of 70% or more, such as a delicate chocolate mousse or rich chocolate brownies, harmonize wonderfully with the nitro coffee. Meanwhile, citrus desserts like a classic Tarte au Citron or orange shortbreads perfectly mirror the freshness of the bitter lemon espuma. Additionally, nutty pastries such as cantuccini or almond macarons complement the creamy texture of the drink in a beautifully balanced way.
