Preparation
Fill all ingredients through a funnel and sieve into an iSi Nitro.
Close the Nitro securely, pressurize with an iSi Nitro Charger, and shake vigorously about 8 times.
Place the spout at a slight angle against the glass wall, press the lever all the way down, and serve the drink.
A Nitro Carrot Gingertini is a very distinctive, complex drink owing to its combination of sweet carrot juice, fiery ginger and lime, and the creamy nitro texture. It is earthy, effervescent, spicy, and wonderfully velvety thanks to the egg white.
Because of its multi-layered profile, it pairs superbly with the following occasions and foods:
Occasion and Time of Day
The spiciness of the ginger and the acidity of the lime make it appetite-stimulating, rendering it a wonderful sophisticated non-alcoholic aperitif. The creamy texture gives it a very festive appearance – perfect as a starter for a cozy dinner. This drink is also a real health booster: thanks to the carrot juice with Vitamin A/beta-carotene and ginger, this drink feels like pure wellness, but tastes like the bar.
As a Food Pairing
This drink requires foods that either pick up on its earthy notes or provide a strong contrast to the acidity and spiciness. In Asian and Oriental cuisine, it pairs exceptionally well with dishes featuring ginger, cumin, turmeric, or coriander, or with curries, where the creamy nitro texture and the carrot sweetness harmonize beautifully with coconut milk curries (e.g., Thai Green Curry). The Nitro Carrot Gingertini also goes very well with spicy wok dishes: the ginger in the drink mirrors the spiciness in the food, while the lime adds freshness. This drink also finds its ideal companion alongside grilled prawns or fish with a lime-ginger marinade, or sushi/sashimi.
In summary, the Nitro Carrot Gingertini fits wherever a refined, non-alcoholic drink with character is sought, whether it underscores spicy dishes or counters creamy meals with freshness.
