Place the nozzle at a slight angle against the glass wall, press the lever all the way, and serve the drink
This recipe is significantly more elegant, clearer, and more acidic than a classic Bloody Mary due to its unique ingredients - clarified tomato juice and white vinegar. The nitro process also gives it a silky, creamy texture.
Here are the best pairings for this special drink:
The Brunch Companion
The Bloody Mary is the king of breakfast cocktails. Since this version is light due to the clarified juice, it pairs perfectly with Eggs Benedict (the acidity of the vinegar in the drink cuts perfectly through the rich Hollandaise sauce), avocado toast with a touch of sea salt and chili flakes, or Shakshuka (an Oriental pan dish with poached eggs and tomato sauce).
Savory Snacks & Finger Food (Food Pairing)
Because of its fine nitro texture and clear appearance, it harmonizes with sophisticated, salty treats such as oysters. The combination of tomato juice, vinegar, and the salty seawater of the oyster is a classic. Alternatively, shrimp skewers (briefly seared with garlic) or celery sticks with blue cheese dip also pair excellently with this Nitro Bloody Mary.
Garnish Tip
Since this drink has a creamy nitro head, garnishes should be chosen that float on top or emphasize the clean look. A single green olive or a caper berry on a fine silver pick makes for a subtle garnish. For a more modern touch, choose a sprig of fresh lovage or a small basil cluster for aroma. A small rim of celery salt on the glass to emphasize the spice from the very first sip is also highly recommended.
