Preparation
Stir the Monin Cold Brew concentrate into the water and pour with the remaining ingredients through a funnel and sieve into a iSi Nitro.
Screw on one iSi Nitro charger and shake approximately 8 times. Then, position the nozzle at an angle against the side of the glass, press the lever all the way down, and serve the drink.
Thanks to the nitrogen infusion, the Monin Nitro Sangria gains an exceptionally creamy, almost velvety texture and is intensely fruit-forward.
Here are our top pairing recommendations:
Classic Tapas
The fruity sweetness of the Sangria calls for salty and savory counterparts, such as Pimientos de Padrón or Manchego cheese with quince paste. The combination of the tangy sheep's milk cheese and the Sangria's fruitiness is a true classic. Alternatively, serve bacon-wrapped dates - the fat and salt of the bacon harmonize perfectly with the fine-pored Nitro foam head.
Seafood
The refreshing, effervescent-like quality pairs brilliantly with light fish dishes and seafood, such as Gambas al Ajillo (garlic prawns). The heat from the garlic is gently mellowed by the cool, creamy Sangria. Ceviche is another excellent match, as the acidity of the lime juice in the fish beautifully balances the fruity Monin aromas.
Crunchy Textures
Since the Nitro drink has a very "soft" mouthfeel, crunchy snacks create an exciting sensory contrast. Fried calamari or Patatas Bravas are ideal - the spicy tomato sauce and crispy potatoes are the perfect satisfying accompaniment for a social evening.
Presentation Tip
This drink is best served in a large wine glass. For an extra touch, briefly marinate plenty of fresh fruit (berries, citrus slices) in Monin syrup, place them in the glass, and then pour the Nitro mixture directly from the whipper over them.
